Belmont Residents Walk and Clean Their Neighborhood

On a sunny and pleasant Sunday morning, we participated in the first "walk and clean" session in the streets of their town. The group walked for 1.2 miles, covering North Road, Ross Street, Winding Way, and Hillman Ave. We were impressed by how much trash we found on such a short amble, and we collected a full bag of trash along the way.

We were inspired by similar events that have been held in other cities, and we believe that walking and cleaning is a great way to improve the environment and bring people together.

We were all united by their desire to make Belmont a cleaner and more beautiful place to live.

The group started their walk at the corner of North Road and Ross Street. They walked north on North Road, then east on Winding Way, and then south on Hillman Ave. They returned to their starting point on Ross Street.

Along the way, the group collected a variety of trash, including plastic bottles, cans, food wrappers, and cigarette butts. They also found some larger items, such as a broken umbrella.

The group was pleased with the results of their walk and clean event. They collected a full bag of trash, and they helped to make Belmont a cleaner and more beautiful place to live. They are already planning their next walk and clean event, and they encourage other Belmont residents to join them.

The walk and clean event is a great reminder that we all have a role to play in keeping our community clean. By taking a few minutes to pick up trash when we see it, we can make a big difference.
